Keeps the body stretched out on the back, with strong head and neck support. Suited to neurological conditions, muscular atrophy, asymmetrical postures such as scoliosis, and epileptic seizures. The therapist keeps both hands free.

Our vests are part of aquatic therapy equipment used in rehabilitation programs. Every strap, float and collar answers a real clinical need.
PFD-A : dorsal position
The PFD-A supports a supine, horizontal position: the water carries the body while the vest stabilises it. Flexible enough for cerebral palsy and asymmetrical conditions like scoliosis or hemiplegia, and engineered so the pillow float withstands strong jerky head movements and repeated back arching.
CE / EC approved, Protocol CRITT ISO Class E 50N, CRITT Laboratory, Chatellerault, France. A PFD-O open-neck variant exists on hydrotherapist recommendation.
Lj-A : upright position
The Lj-A is for anyone able to get vertical in the water on their own. It assists the ventral position, offers superior stability to the front, and gives enough freedom of movement to actually swim. Patented floats deliver high performance at minimal thickness.

Lj-V : vertical position
Built for movement disorders: the Lj-V constantly keeps the mouth away from the water and the body vertical, despite fetal posture, an undeveloped lower body or sudden large contortions. It applies the stability principle of a collar float at its full capacity.

They tried it
For the first time, my daughter swims on her own. The vest brings her face out of the water in a second, so we both relax and she just plays.
We use the PFD-A every day in our aquatic therapy pool. It holds patients with very different postures and frees both of the therapist's hands, which changed how we run our sessions.
With the vertical collar, residents who have strong involuntary movements can finally be safe in the water. The face never reaches the surface.
